Thoracic outlet syndrome
Bells palsy
Trigeminal neuritis/ neuralgia
Sciatica
Ulnar nerve neuritis/ neuralgia
Carpal tunnel syndrome
Onset – trauma or gradual
Signs and symptoms
Redness along nerve path
Paresthesia (numbness, tingling)
Burning pain
Pain on stretching the nerve
Spasm in acute stage
Muscle atrophy in chronic stage
Negative neurological signs for nerve conduct and motor activity
Treatment considerations/concerns
Do not stretch nerve
Ice/heat with client tolerance
Doctor diagnosis
Refer to proper primary care for spinal alignment
